When I uninstall the driver, it recognizes the unit but then the firmware asks for the Steingberg USB driver. It will run on any version of macOS from 10.10 (Yosemite) to 12.5 (Monterey). I’m not sure what the eLicencer would do, I don’t use Cubase. Have you upgraded your eLicencer? It all started working for me with the UR824 once I had installed the newest eLicencer (in fact I think I re-installed it again after upgrading the new Yamaha USB driver). For instance, GraphicConverter 10, which is perfectly usable, contains one image-conversion route (PCDtoRAW) that isn’t compiled as 64-bit code. It will not flag these applications as having 32-bit-only components. Go64 lets you select and delete 32-bit apps. I’m planning on upgrading to Logic Pro X but I’m holding off until I can get this to work. Go64 recognizes when an application contains a 32-bit component but also has a separate, 64-bit counterpart for it. I will fight this with the NYS Attorney General and Better Business Bureau if I am stuck not being able to Use my 2018 CC with Mac OS Catalina, unless I get.
